Introducing The Blooming Award by A Night With Our Buds: a initiative to support local businesses in Columbus, Ohio.

In the spirit of community over competition, we want to make it rain on our fellow bud to help them bloom and grow! We want to give an even greater purpose to what A Night With Our Buds stands for and help our fellow vendors who would benefit from all of our support.

Nominate a fellow vendor that you believe could use some additional help with their growth. Ie. maybe they are wanting to expand or need some new equipment or even put an add in an expensive magazine. Whatever it is we want to help! Simply fill out the form below with as much detail as possible. It will go to a board vote for the top 3 selection and vendor attendees at the Winter Gala will vote for the winner! The winner will be announced at that evening and they will receive a monetary award collected from donations, event sales and a percentage of gala ticket sales. They will also receive recognition on the A Night with our buds website and the opportunity to share their journey.

Criteria for Nomination: Nominees must be vendors based in the Columbus, Ohio area who demonstrate a need for support to sustain and grow their businesses.

Selection Process: Nominees will be selected through a vote by the board of A Night With Our Buds. To nominate a business, individuals must complete a nomination form on our website, providing insight into how winning The Blooming Award would benefit the nominee.

Allocation of Funds: A percentage of ticket sales from the Gala and all proceeds from the Spring Mixer held in April along with any additional donations, will contribute to the monetary prize awarded to the recipient of The Blooming Award.

Nominations: There are no limits to the number of nominations a business can receive.

Award Announcement: Following a screening process by the board of A Night With Our Buds, nominees will undergo a voting phase where attendees of the gala will have the opportunity to choose the winner. The recipient of The Blooming Award will be revealed during the Winter Gala.

Additional Recognition: Plans are underway to provide further recognition and benefits for nominees, including opportunities for them to share their experiences and the impact of the award at future events. The previous year's winner will have the chance to speak at the following year's gala, sharing insights into how The Blooming Award helped their business grow. Additionally, their journey will be highlighted on social media platforms, keeping attendees of the gala informed about the positive impact of their contributions.
